Fast Growth!

The CadwayCado™ avocado tree is a very fast grower. At Unique Dynamics, Inc. we have proven fast growth whether you graft to a seedling or to a mature tree.

For Example: A mature tree (not pictured) grafted with a CadwayCado™ scion (budwood) in June of 2021 is loaded with CadwayCado™ avocados July 2023. That is fast growth!

The 2 trees in the picture were grafted by me at the same time and planted in the same soil and received the same care.

Tree Shape!

There are many varieties of avocado trees available. There are many attributes that avocados share, either in a positive or negative way. The Hass avocado is the most popular in the world because it has many desirable characteristics, such as thick skin great for shipping, good flavor and size, and very productive. One of the negatives for Hass is its sprawling tree shape, which is a negative for most home growers, but not for commercial growers.

Home growers usually have limited space and therefore prefer the Christmas tree shape, which is one of the positives of the CadwayCado™. In the picture, locate the tree trunk, it is between 2 black containers, and follow it up to visualize the CadwayCado™ tree shape.

Productivity!

From my experience, B type avocados are less productive than A type and the reason is that B types have female flowers in the morning - mornings are cooler than afternoons. The CadwayCado™ is a B type and is very productive because it flowers later in the season when the mornings are warmer.

Pollinator!

Both the Hass and CadwayCado™ produce avocados by themselves, but planting them near each other or grafting both varieties on one tree will give the bees lots of pollen to spread around when female flowers are open increasing production for both the Hass and CadwayCado™ trees.
